Grand Touring Classics
I stopped by Norbert Hofer's shop in Long Beach California. Grand
Touring Classics is a shop well known for its quality of work and it's
wait list to get in!
Norbert and I spent a lot of time chatting about the business and the
people in it. It was the distraction he needed to keep him from
restringing a window winder cable to a Ferrari!
The conversation turned to paint work, and Norbert brought us over to a
Maserati Ghibli he had at the shop. The paintwork was done by Junior's
House of Color, a very big name in the high end of automotive
paint.
The pictures do not do this car justice, but it may be the best looking
Ghibli in the world. Junior's work is stunning, but if you have to ask
how much it costs, you won't be able to pay for it!
Thanks Norbert for taking the time to meet us. It's always good to put
a face to a name, and now I'll know how to spot you when you're going
incognito at Monterey!
