This Ferrari is a 1977 silverblue 400 that I bought in July 2001. It
has a blue leather interior with dark blue inserts, blue carpets and a
black dashboard. It has a brand new stainless steel exhaust, and the wheels
have been renovated (not yet on the picture). Even though it is not in
"concours" condition, the car looks great and most importantly, runs great.
Its six webers deliver a great melody to the 340 hp V12 engine. The first
Ferrari automatic gear box, often criticized, is now considered as an ancestor
to the modern 456 GTA. I started to work on the interior that needed some
clean up and care, especially the dashboard leather, too dry. I'll probably
have to get it re-tensed in the future, so that it looks perfect. Next
will be a complete engine clean-up, but no need to rush : lets enjoy it
a bit on the road first during summer time.
Here are some new pictures Thy sent in.
