Lou Jedeloo's 412
It's a FSH 1986 car registered in The Netherlands with only 62 K
original kilometers in fantastic condition. It's my first Ferrari and
for sure - hopefully.... - not my last.
It's a real old-fashioned dolce vita car of the good old 70's and 80's
when the roads were still relatively quiet and a Golf Diesel could only
do 150 or 160 k/hour ! I really love it!
The car recently belonged to a Dutch Amsterdam lawyer who has a 2nd
home near Monaco, so he drove it down there and had it over there for
many of years. He did treat himself as he swapped the 412 for a 1994
Ferrari 456 GT and has a 330 GT 2+2 in his garage also for a long
time ....
The 412 runs great and despite it's age (designed and especially
developped at the end of the sixties, beginning of the seventies) it
handles surprisingly easy and good. The pricetag when new in those days
was so outrageous that you could expect something back of course. You
could also buy a big farm or house at the Amsterdam canals for that
money - which had been a better investment for sure! It belonged
to the Italian Marketing Director of Fiat Netherlands in the nineties,
Roberto Olivo, who sold it to a Dutch Ad agency owner in 1998
while going back to Torino. He sold it to the Dutch lawyer in 2001, I
just bought it from. It's a 4 owner car therefore.
I saw Roberto Olivo has a great car as well nowadays, as I saw him on
your Site with his current 250 GTE, one of the most beautiful
Ferraris ever, to my personal opinion, besides
the 456 GT which is on my hit list - if cash allows at that time - in 2
or 3 years time.
The 1st owner was an Italian Architect living in Rome and Napoli by the
way, who's also a Professor at the Napolitanian University nowadays. He
had it for 8 years in Italy and only covered a little bit more than 20K
in it. Always great to have the FSH with the car!
