Sam Sapienza's 308QV

You might be wondering why there is a photo of a V8 car on a site dedicated to V12's. Well there are a few things which make it Legit. First, that's me, Andrew Brent, owner of GTE 3835 in the passenger seat so there is some V12 content here, I admit, it's only in spirit - but that is vintage grease under my fingernails. Second, Sam has helped numerous times to get Grandma (3835) back on the road, lying underneath her in the pools of misplaced oil and advising on various topics to get things running smoothly, despite the continuous protests of our wives to get us out to a movie or off to dinner. This includes the marathon effort to get her in shape last year to get to Monterey. Last, Sam loves this car, it  -is-  a Ferrari, and unlike most the other static photo's on Tom's site, she's on the road at speed. It's what is meant of these cars.

He purchased bella Sophia in 96, back east, and moved to Southern California in 98. Instead of shipping her out, he and a mad Australian friend (not me), drove the car the 3000 miles from Michigan. Never missed a beat, just as Enzo intended. Sam qualifies as a true enthusiast of the Marque.
