Rick Taylor's 365GTC/4

I have been looking for a Ferrari on and off for 25 years, but always had an excuse for not buying, too rusty, too much
money, nasty sales person etc.

In the summer of '96 I saw the car at a local foreign car dealer in the Toronto area. The car was originally bought at the then
Ferrari dealer in Toronto, Yonge Steeles Motors, which is only a few blocks from where I live today. The car was complete
and running, but tired. A price was agreed on and I came home to my wife and said I had found my 50th birthday present !

The local Ferrari dealer rebuilt the motor over the winter of '97 during his slow time. He replaced all the intake and exhaust
valves, timing chain, bearings, seals, rebuilt the water pump, carbs, distributors during his slow time. The motor doesn't
leak oil any more.

Each winter I work on a different part of the car. I have replaced all the brake rotors, flex lines (8), and rebuilt the calipers,
replaced the shocks and rebuilt the suspension, ball joints etc  and replaced every rubber hose on the car including 5 new
Michelin XWX tires.
My wife and I really enjoy the car and all the people we come in contact with. This summer will be our longest trip when
we go to Quebec with the Ferrari club, about 1000 miles.
