Re: Engine bearings and con rod bolts supplier
Thanks Tom, I think we are sorted now. We use ARP stuff regularly - its the best, although the lead times can be crippling. I'll check to see if we need head studs for a 330GTC project we have coming up soon

Thanks for the advice. We will stay with the triplex chain. I have ordered some Renolds Red chain and links today.

330 - Changing triple row timing chain
Does anyone have any thought son changing teh triple row timing chain on a 330. We have been told that it is very hard to find replacement triple row chains that are really good quality and someone suggested that we convert the engine to run on a double row chain as high quality double row chains ar...

Engine bearings and con rod bolts supplier
Does anyone have any recommendations for the best manufacturer of main and crank (big-end) bearings for a 330GT? We are looking for top quality and wondered if there is a 'preferred supplier' for these. Also a question regarding con rod bolts. Are these re-usable or should they be replaced automatic...

Re: Anybody seen or used the repro stainless bumpers?
We recently fitted a set of these 'Vietnam' bumpers to a 330GT series 1 and we are very pleased with them. They arrived well packaged and unmarked, and the front one fitted perfectly although the rear one needed a little minor fettling. We would definitely buy again. I've also fitted these to my 246...

Re: 250/330 rear spring bolts
I might be able to help here Andrew. We have a 330GT series 1 (5465GT) and the rear suspension is on the bench at the moment and about to be refitted. I also have another here in the process of restoration (6777GT) so can refer to that one also. I'm not sure exactly what you need to know but I'm hap...

330GT door mechanism plastic clip
Does anyone have a source for the small plastic part that holds the door mechanism together – see the part circled in the photo below (photo coutesy of Tom Yang). I have two cars with these parts either missing or broken.

Main bearing shells - fitting procedure question
When fitting new main bearing shells what is the procedure regarding the position of the oil feed holes? On a pair of bearings one half has two oil feed holes and teh other half has none. What I am interested in is does the half with the feed holes fit into the block or into the main bearing cap? Is...
