365GT 2+2 Brake rotor specifications?

Can someone please tell me the front and rear Minimum/Maximum Brake rotor thickness specification for 365 GT 2+2? I had it years ago, but cannot find it anymore.
Thanks!

Re: 365 GT 2 + 2 restoration

Hi A.D., I would be very cautious about pouring Coke in the cylinders. There are many products available to dissolve rust without putting sugar in your engine. No offence C. For frozen and rusted bolts I use Kano Kroil personally, but there are a ton of products out there, WD40 is not a rust remover...

Re: 365 GT 2 + 2 restoration

Hi A.D., It seems strange a shop would leave the engine exposed to rain without at least the air cleaner cover on. Please don’t take offence, but could it be as simple as a dead battery? If the car sat a long time, doors open for hours on end with the dome light on and the clock running. Did you put...

1969 365 GT 2+2 #12629

After four years of mechanical restoration the car runs flawlessly but now divorce forces sale. See it on eBay! It is clearly the nicer of the two listed. I can't thank all of you enough for all the help getting the car to where it is now. I have made two round trips from Salem Or. to San Francisco ...

wiper motor for 365 gt 2+2

The brushes on my wiper motor are shot. the odd one of the three has half of its end, the opposing ones are slanted from top to bottom, so only a small part is contacting the commutator. The wiper only runs on one speed the way it is now. It's not possible to just replace the brushes and I haven't i...

Re: Looking for Diodes for 365GT 2+2 alternator

I was able to get them from a local alternator shop and they were cheap. Just bring a sample with you. I believe your alternators should be 55 amp. They also had brushes that were close and I sanded them to size. It should be an easy and inexpensive rebuild.

Re: Replacing exhaust system on 365 GT 2+2

If it's a daily driver why not go stainless? I bought a system from Sebro on ebay it was listed at $3600 OBO so I offered $1800 the system is very nice but it cost $900 to make it fit. Dan at Stebro agreed to pay half but never followed through it has been a year now and I have given up. At $2700 in...

Re: Unlevel

Sounds like springs to me. My Dads 365gt2+2 we found was being held up by the load levelers once we removed them the car nearly bottomed out. This is the second time the rear springs have been replaced.
Hope this helps,
Dan

John,
Do you happen to know the size or part number of the seals and o-rings? I'll have Dick send the levelers to me for a rebuild.
Thanks, Dan

I followed one of my books on the idle mixture screw adjustment. It had me lower the idle completely on two carbs and raise it on just one, then turn the mixture screws out on that carb till the RPMs were at their highest. I ended up fouling the plugs at idle after a short time. The way I was taught...

Last minute questions

I finally got the car on the road! I have a few questions. Do I need to re torque the heads? I used the Australian gaskets from GT Car Parts, I know you normally would but don’t they use a harder no re torque material now? I can’t find any information on how to properly adjust the air screws on the ...
