I have a 330GT ser1

Working with my front brakes I found that the surface of the cylinders were not very good.
To fix them I guess I can have sleeves in them but my question is. Have anyone tried this:

I need to repaint the engine bay since the paint is quite bad there.
What colour should I use ?
Is it a semi-gloss type?
