Re: 330 GT belly pan on eBay
DSC_0070.jpg DSC_0069-2.jpg Boy, you guys from other side of pond are good, making two belly pans on a Saturday. Perhaps with stone guards you might be home for lunch after making two of those. (not being a wise guy, I'm only kidding.) I think the price is good for that bellypan as I know it will c...

Re: Tool Bag
just a thought, if you install a washer between the donut and the driveshaft flange, the driveshaft would move back therefore the shaft would ride at new position in comparison to mushroom.
Sounds logical but not sure if it would work.

Re: clutch pedal
Merry Christmas, sorry guys, I was over thinking this issue. But after I saw the picture that Kerry posted, I realized what happened. The OEM spring has a longer neck on both sides and it's actually 1.75" longer. The new replacement spring coil is exactly the same except the length. All I had to do ...

Re: clutch pedal
Thanks Kerry, I see the difference from the pictures, the spring in your pictures is longer then the one I have, I could tell by reference points in the picture, I will post pictures later, have to work this morning for a few hours.

Re: clutch pedal
forgot, not sure if thing are correct, the I bolt is about 2" short of mounting bracket, I don't know if I could stretch it enough to install nuts, I would also need measurement from mounting bracket to spring after it's installed in case the I bolt is too short.

Re: clutch pedal
Merry Christmas everyone, I received spring #660346 and it was 1.5" shorter that the one that broke but after I added "C" clip, it was the same length. I guess they changed this system at one time because to install the longer spring without the c clip would have been more difficult. I remember inst...

Re: clutch pedal
Thank you,
it's the longer spring that broke, the assist spring, thanks for the part #, I'll see if Jeof has any and I'll be ready to leave some blood under the dash.

Re: clutch pedal
what you said makes sense, it's a series 2 and it's the spring that goes through the i bolt. I can't get on Kerrys parts book to see what the action of this spring is. Theoretically what you said makes sense being that the spring would make the pedal harder to push, but before it broke, the pedal wa...

Re: clutch pedal
Update,
it's not the helper spring, but the main spring. In the parts book it seems that it's part #660110, but it's for series 1. Not sure if it's the same spring for series 2

Hi guys, I remember driving a friends 330 before I finished mine and my first impression was how heavy the clutch was. Anyway when I put mine on the road, my clutch was very light. A few weeks ago as I was driving, I heard a bang under the dash and my clutch got as heavy as my friends car. I know th...

Re: Our friends in the path of Sandy
Hi Kerry, thanks for being concerned, we are lucky at home, we only lost power for three days, ran on generator, my beach house in seaside park seems to be one of the few that has very little damage but I'm not sure if water got into house and we are not allowed to go to island for at least a month....

Well has you know about my problems with electronic ignition, Tom restored my car back to points and I have since put 400 miles on it and it's running great. Today I went to the New Hope car show in PA and there where 250 entries from Ferraris, Alfa, Jag, etc. It was a very nice event and I took 2nd...

Re: Stalling while driving
I too have had many problems with being let down on the road. Have had vapor lock and I did install facet pump which took care of the fuel problem. But I see that you burned out one of your coils and I burned out about 5 sets of electronic ignition modules. I have my car at Toms now to switch back t...

rear diff leaks
Tom, that was a great idea, after I removed the nuts, I was able to hit the springs with a rubber mallet and the flange separated enough that I was able to clean it and apply some RTV silicone on flange and studs. Next I will replace oil seal.
Thanks, I'll see you soon for those points....
