Yes there is a lever for the fast idle (choke) under the dashboard (left side of the steering column) but most Daytona owners never use it because it often fouls plugs on a cold engine.

It' s probably not the same case ,but if readers have brake lock up problems they can check the master cylinder's seals size .

The "mysterious" Trumpet with the Blue paint is 18 cm (7,1 inch) long ,has a Silver grey cap and many things writen on the Trumpet. Craig it's always a pleasure if I can help. The caps and the 2 trumpets are the same on the Daytona or the 365 GT4/BB ,they are beige and it's written the same thing on both. 365 BB & 365GTB 4 Caps.JPG The longuest Trumpet is 21 cm (8,26 inch) with the cap on.It is written TB on it. Concerning the serie 2000 (only), in my memories the trumpets (original) were anodized red on one of my father's Dino and painted blue on another one (before I paint them red, 246 gt/206 gt ) .But It was a long time ago (the Dinos are gone) and my memories can be wrong for the anodized... Thanks for the welcome. 1. I took off my horn trumpets to refinish them again. My horns are in better shape, so I'd like to polish them, but I noticed the paint on my horns chipping off very easily.
