Saw this on FChat. The 500 Mondial seems like a very interesting restoration.

Re: Pulling radiator
From what I understand, the flat fin is original so that’s what is in my car. Its not as efficient but trying to keep the car as original as possible. I will say I am thinking about having Tom install a modern cooling fan to prevent overheating down here in Florida.

Re: 330 door mirrors
Steve,
Do you think the Fosseway clip on mirror would work on the 330?

Re: 330 door mirrors
Ok. Well I guess that’s settles it. Looks like in the market for a side mirror. Let me know if anyone has any leads on a correct one for SII 330.

330 door mirrors
So what is everyone’s thoughts on door mirrors? I don’t believe I’m required to have them down here in FL and I’m inclined to not have one installed as I think it detracts from the lines of the car. For those that have them, are they really useful? They seem very small.

330 America
The auction on BaT ends today already up to 330k. Not bad for a car which some would say needs a complete restoration.

6 carb setup vs 3 carb setup
Curious as to why the competition cars have a 6 carb setup while most production cars have a 3 carb setup. What are the advantages to each?

Re: Grigio paint
Grigio scuro metallic is listed as an offered paint on the registry. Kerry, can you confirm or deny?

Grigio paint
Grigio fumo vs Grigio scuro. Having never seen these colors in real life on a 330gt, I’m curious to see if anyone has opinions. I know that the scuro is a darker paint but in some pictures it looks like it has a greenish tint. Were these colors offered in metallic from the factory?

And after 30 years, odds are it won’t even stick.

Re: 2+2 resto - congrats tom
Hey Ed,
This is my car. She’s missing a few parts busy mostly there. Maybe Tom could feature your bracket for the coolant overflow tank you sold me in one of his posts. It’s by far the beat looking part in the car.
