Re: GT rear view mirror rubber bumper

Thank guys - i was just thought id order 4-5 of them as they always look nicer than using the old smashed ones etc...and the old ones get dry and hard. Some parts we fab here in AZ for resale when we can and to help the community when the need arises - there are a limited sources for 330 parts so if...

GT rear view mirror rubber bumper

Is there anyone make this little rubber bumper for the rear view mirror. It goes between the mirror post and the glass. Have not seen it in the CICO list of parts, but have not asked them either. Appreciate any advise - direction. Not hard to make with the right material, just thought i'd buy one if...

2+2 resto - congrats tom

Tom, It would be a fun car to do - what is the serial number of the car? best thing about the car is that it looks to be all together and original so you can validate and focus on body to trim fit before taking it apart. If anything requires modification, now is the time to do the mods and refit it ...

Re: Details wanted for early GTE coils with round resistors

Thank you - i agree, to clairfy my comment, i have not seen any with square resistors,( in the boano ellena cars), however i have seen early version early MM coils with/ without the tootsie rolls.

Those W/O either resistor had a built in resistor provision.

Re: Details wanted for early GTE coils with round resistors

thank you for the info and insight - so thru the early ellena period i have seen some pics with them on the cars and late ellena did not, then into the PF era (what was used?)

Now learning the gte used them.....

what was the determining factor for using the tootsie roll type coils?

gte cancel cam

Tom, nice work.... i have also seen where they shim the turn signal lever out slightly to smooth the cancel operation. The shim is on the first collar (smaller one) when u assemble the lever to the column. The end of the steering shaft more or less floats within the column it self except where the b...

Re: GTE from Charlotte NC

Tom, Obviously, your trying to sell the car before you purchase it...and i have no issues with that - however..gullwing obviously has deep pockets, so they have the ability to buy the car on the spot, inventory it and do their thing. For us little guys, we need the backup of a great deal of funds to...

Im refinishing 2 GTC's for a client and we decided to make a run of these, we will laser cut them out of a sheet, so ill have plenty to sell off...... trying to get a gauge which cars other than the 330 GT, GTC and GTS cars have these ...
