Kerry's homepage

Is Kerry Chesbro i.e. his homepage still online? Since weeks, I can't open his pages and do only get some error-messages. Thanks for information. Mike

Hi Matt My very original and low-mile (40.000 miles) 330 in silver with working AC, Borranis etc. is for sale, but unfortunately the car is in Switzerland :-). Take a look if you want on www.autoscout.ch, it's the silver one for 89.500 Swiss Franks (about $ 70'000.-). I got it from a collection in G...

fan/blower motor for passenger side

Does anybody have an idea where I could get the electric motor for the right side heating system? The one on my 330 is burned. It first looked like an easy order (since it's a Smiths part), but I couldn't find one yet. The blower housing is ok and I'm just looking for the motor. I'm pretty sure that...

Hi Michael Sorry for the late reply but I've been travelling for a few days (yes, in my 330 GT :D ). I'm sorry but the Ferrari mechanic didn't want to tell me who exactly did the job. My guess is that he gave it to a shop that produces new springs. I called one possible shop and they told me that it...

Just got my car back from the Ferrari mechanic. He used my old coil springs, but "refreshed" them first: they use a wedge to lengthen the coils and the funny thing (which I didn't know) is that the spring gets harder during this process. He assured me that they do not collaps for 20 years now... I h...

Hi Michael I've had mine sand-blasted and that's why I got a good look at them when they were clean. There are definitely two grooves that one can use (my Ferrari mechanic mentioned that possibility too) but unfortunately I can't exactly remember how far apart they are. Could be that you only gain a...

Hi David In my opinion, rather not buy a Stebro system. When I got mine, nothing fit at all. Wrong gaskets, wrong bents, no screws etc. I took me so much time to have it corrected, it would have been much easier/cheaper to have one made on the car. And it doesn't sound like a 330 GT is supposed to s...

spacers

Hi Michael

Did you see that there is a second groove in the spring base so you can chose the height? On my car (as probably with the most ones), the plate was/is at the lower groove. If you go for the upper groove, you get some more height.

Regards, Mike

Thanks fest and Michael I've checked with MC UK today, they probably get a few pairs in the next few weeks (in case anybody needs a pair too) and I've just checked the height that Michael supplied: the one in the front is less than 34cm on my car or about 13.4", so evem lower. Maybe I should convert...

front springs

I hope this message can be of help for you (not to make the same mistake) and for me (maybe someone can help?). It all started yesterday night after I lowered my car from its jack-stands after 7 months of work on the ignition, suspension etc. I had a "specialist" made new front springs because the o...

Hi Mike and Tom Sanding, scratching and lots of work did the job, all 4 center caps fit again perfectly :-). Yesterday night, the car has been lowered from its jack stands for the first time after 7 months and ..... but let me post a new message about that topic so maybe somebody can help and others...

Hi Tom Thanks for the good idea! I'm just having a little break from doing exactly what you suggested and it looks like it works :-). It's 7.20 pm over here and I guess I'll have the car fitted with all 4 wheels in 2 or 3 hours again. I hope a can make a little test drive tonight after 7 months of w...

center caps

Hi there I wonder if anybody in this excellent forum has a good idea what to do with the 4 freshly rechromed Borrani center caps of my 330 GT 2+2. The problem is this: the shop rechromed the threads too (very bad idea!) and now 3 of the 4 caps do not fit i.e are very hard/impossible to turn/fasten. ...
