Re: Tires
I'm waiting to finish the restoration on my car to buy the Pirelli's Cinturato. I can hardly stand the wait.

Re: Horn Detailing
So above pictures show that the horn bracket is date stamped the same as the compressor, black wrinkle for the horn bases. All of the rest seem to match what is in this thread. It seems like the brass or copper thread is welded onto the horn metal, whatever it is. I am particularly interested in inf...

Re: Horn Detailing
Gang: Let's play an old favorite again. I bought a set of Fiamm horns from Tom S. a while back, who knows what car it came from. The date code on the compressor is 705, which according to this thread of knowledge means 1967, May. All things on this set of horns matches what is described and document...

Re: Tires
Just inquire about the Pirelli Cinturato from Lucas. Here is their response: We have the 205VR15's in stock, as well as the tubes. The dot code is 1210. The diameter is 27.8" and the section width ( widest part of tire ) is 8.3". These are not the original molds. They are new molds created for the r...

Re: My 330GT has returned!!
WOW!, Beautiful car. Congratulations, looks absolutely fantastic. I feel a twinge of jelousy (in a good way). No doubt worth the wait and expense.
I hope you drive the hell out of it.
Enjoy it in good health.

Re: Tires
just for fun. Without this factory approved tool you will be totally lost to properly assess your tread life. As always, you are a wealth of information. Cool tread gauge. You might be right that the Pirelli's are simply a marketing response to the XWX's of world. Craig, you imply that this tire is...

2nd Gear Synchro
I am looking for a Ferrari 2nd Gear synchro for Daytona, 275GTB, or similar vintage gearbox, as I understand they all use the same. I suspect that most of the folks here would use the same type synchro's. (Clarification on which vehicles used this same synchro would be helpful if anyone would care t...
