With hindsight, and enlarged images it appears that the technical bulletin repair was completed on s/n 11017.
Best result for new caretaker.

Just a question on s/n 11017 a 330 GTC recently purchased on "Bring-A-Trailer", does the photo show that the front shock top mounts require the repair advised in the period Ferrari technical bulletin? If so, just a note n the auction comments may save the new caretaker some serious grief. https://br...

Would a possible solution be to purchase clear tubing and then dye it with "Rit" dye? A person could control the degree of darkness of the red tint by varying the time of immersion in the dye bath. Just a thought.

Just my 0.02, but I just couldn't in good conscience drill holes where there are none; future source of moisture intrusion, possible corrosion, etc. How about a nice bracket created to mount to the bumper and then flow up to the appropriate position, without touching the rear panel? Very rough idea ...
