You know American Express works for you in these situations while the bank cards seem to just protect the banks. I had a situation where there was a mysterious charge from a merchan in New Jersey, I could not get Mastercard to find out any info on where the merchant was or their phone number or any...

Fine 275 GTS on eBay

This 275 GTS on eBay looks FABULOUS. This fellow is a parts dealer in Mexico City and just sold an equally nice 330 GTC a few weeks ago, to whom I do not know. It'd be nice to get this GTS back in the states. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4544955246&category=6212...

I do have this book and it does seem to be a great reference although a lot of the sourses don't seem to be in business any more. as for the conversion to harder Valve Guides the Apen / Roush Book: "Ferrari Tuning Tips and Maintainance Techniques" FAF / Veloce Press has a ...

Bypass filters in Columbo 4 liter engines

Here's a basic question that I could not find in the archives. I understand that the paired oil filters in the 4 liter Columbo engines (as in the 330 GTC) are not identical, one being a bypass filter with a finer particle size. Can you still get the 2 types of filters; from what source? I also under...

This isn't a real good picture, but perhaps good enough. These gauges are on my Series II 330 GT, made during the same time as GTCs were. So I would expect that the gauges would be identical. http://www.parrotbyte.com/kbc/ferrari/images/Gauges3.JPG Regards, Kerry Kerry, thanks for the kind post, bu...

Re: Oil pressure guage photos, please!!!

I've got pics of that red one, but the resolution of the guage is not good enough to use as a reference. I previously posted an inquiry on this forum about it, and would love any more feedback on that car. I wouldn't mind flying out there if its a really nice car. Any other leads on good 330GTC woul...

Oil pressure guage photos, please!!!

Greetings Vintage Owners! I hope you can help me with my search for a 330 GTC. I'm in NC and tomorrow I will go to Atlanta to look at a silver 330 GTC. The main thing that bugs me about it (so far) is the oil pressure guage is missing from the center of the dash, replaced by a crappy little guage th...

Chuck, I'd appreciate any leads you could offer. I hope to spend $100K including travel, PPI, immediate service required, shipping etc, although thats not an absolute amount. I'm after a good honest driver with nice interior. I don't mind the paint having a little patina, I even look for that, but a...
