Re: Weber DCZ6 Flat Spot

Dyke, The mains are 1.30. I pulled them all and it is possible that 2 or 3 had a slight build up in them. I cleaned them and reinstalled. I could not unscrew the jets from their holders. I broke a small piece off at the screwdriver slot on 2 of them and stopped trying after that. I have not had a ch...

Re: Weber DCZ6 Flat Spot

Dyke, yes so much to check. John, it does do that occasionally. The car ran great, then it sat for a year or so and now it is having this problem. I don't think the carbs would have gotten out of synch or the linkage to have gotten out of whack from sitting. I am trying to figure out how to check th...

Re: Weber DCZ6 Flat Spot

Dyke,
I installed the 65 idle jets and I cannot tell a difference. The stumble is still there. It feels like it is running out of gas, but when you give it more throttle it pulls fine. Do you have any suggestions?

All of the idle jets appeared to be open. They are all marked 60.

Weber DCZ6 Flat Spot

I got the accelerator pumps working on my 330GTC and am now driving it. It has a stumble or flat spot when you accelerate from a steady speed. It is not a large stumble, just slight, and if you give it more gas it accelerates like it should. I am thinking something else is gummed up in the carbs. An...

Re: Weber DCZ6 accelerator pumps

Success. Thanks so much Dyke. I would have never known about the tiny balls in the pump circuit. I have a workshop manual and old Weber drawings, but I would not have figured it out. Thanks. On one carb the piston part that you told me to feel up under the carb and work was frozen. I work it and use...

Re: Weber DCZ6 accelerator pumps

Dyke,

I am not, but I do use Sta-Bil Ethanol treatment. How much Marvel Mystery Oil do you use?

Re: Weber DCZ6 accelerator pumps

Thanks Dyke. I will give it a try. I have never knowingly run anything except ethanol free gas, but I am taking the station's word for that.

Weber DCZ6 accelerator pumps

I recently had my electric fuel pump rebuilt, and I have reinstalled it in my 330GTC #9411. My car has DCZ6 carbs. The pump runs and then slows as it has filled up the float bowls as it should. My problem is that when I pump the gas I am not getting any fuel sprayed into the carbs, and so the engine...

Apparently Apple Hydraulics can rebuild them ( one stop shopping) too but I need to find out about their CAD plating..

Make sure they're stainless. I thought they use brass sleeves...

Tom
Tom,
Who are you using for stainless sleeving?

330GTC radiator hoses

Hi Tom,

I am having my radiator for my 330GTC #9411 rebuilt and was wondering if you had a suggestion of where to get new hoses?

Thanks,
Terry Phillips

Re: 330GTC radiator

Yes. I realize this, which is why I am asking if anyone knows if this is what was done from the factory.
