Re: Borani Wheel Refurb
The price was from Borrani up north. I was advised that the Borrani identification marking might be wiped out by any non-Borrani company. I don't know if that counts for much though.

Borani Wheel Refurb
Hi All I have a set of Borani's on my 330 that have tarnished rims. I've found that I can send them to a Borani dealer and get them refurbished for about £1000/wheel which seems very steep considering all I need done are the rims polished and coated. Does anyone no of any DIY techniques or any compa...

Re: 330 broken door handle
I've fitted a genuine part to the car, but I had already initiated a casting process. They weren't expensive and I think they would work.

Re: Where to find a wiper arm
Hi Rob When you sat "wiper pivots" you presumably mean the base of the arm? If they are MGB, do they have the 7mm splines? At the moment I can only find adapters to go 7→14mm , no wipers with the 7mm spline. I don't know if my current wiper arms are correct - they maybe too long. The measure 32cm hi...

Re: Where to find a wiper arm
Chris
I spoke to Tex Automotive today. It seem that they don't do anything to fit the 7mm splines from my wiper motor. All their stock is 14mm. They did point me to Europa Specialist Spares who do an adapter. I've ordered a couple - hope they work.

Re: Where to find a wiper arm
Thanks Chris
There's no obvious candidate as all the makes seem to be British. I'll call them on Monday.

Where to find a wiper arm
Hi all, Another bit on my 330 needed. The splines have broken at the base of one of my wiper arms. As you can see, I've tried tapping and securing with grub screws, but driving a bit quickly and the arm ends up half-way up the windscreen! I've tried Suzie who's close to me, but she hasn't got one. A...

Re: 330GT frozen front suspension
Thanks for the info guys. My car is a late 66 mk2 if that gives any clues. If the bushings are fibre I can well imagine them being porous. I can’t make up my mind which is better. The porosity is better for holding lubricants but also water. When taking apart, do the seized pin and bush come out as ...

Re: 330 broken door handle
Hi Martin I did see your earlier post. I have contemplated machining, but whilst I can weld, I can’t tig weld so can’t use stainless. This is why I went down the casting route. All academic now as I now have an offer of a replacement part. Thanks for your response. Incidentally- we seem to have simi...

Re: 330GT frozen front suspension
Thanks for the response. I've seen the circlip and the access difficulty so don't fancy trying to do that. Many years ago I uprated the suspension on a car I had to stiffer springs. I had to use three spring compressors each time - it was about as difficult as I ever want in car mechanics. The coils...

330 broken door handle
I went to open the car - there was a clunk and the handle became loose. I took the door card off and found this lump of monkey metal in the bottom of the door - hardly a quality component! Prices online are for complete door handles at eye watering prices. There is a post from michaelbalk330 who fab...

330GT frozen front suspension
Hi I'm new to this forum, and would like some advice on my 330GT 2+2 Mk2. I've owned the car for several years, but haven't done many miles. When I recently took the car for service, the front suspension was found to be seized. This was never picked up before, so I can only presume that this has hap...
