Re: Intro from a new member...
Where in Oz are you from? LHD is no trouble in most places. I am in Melb and have 2 LHD cars and they are simple to have on the club plate system, as long as they are over 25 years old I think. Depending on where you live generally there are local guys who know these cars pretty well. You can talk t...

Re: Congratulations David and Tom!
Well done. I look forward to seeing 1747 in person. What are the plans (if any) for the TYG get together at Monterey? Any info on venue and time?

Re: 250GTE geeks
My 2281GT also only has Leafs , no Coils. See picture attached with three grown ups and on the Throttle. New leafs made some 3 years ago and the Konis on "hard". http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7084/7226084594_469e3b292d_o.jpg That colour just suits the GTE so well. Beautiful. Summer in Bremen is com...

Re: What is this?
WOW early '60 design. It is very modern and has not dated at all. I would have thought that it was a mid '70s design. I like it. Mind you a SWB is also not bad either. Thanks for the education.

Re: 250GTE geeks
Thanks guys. Even I knew that early GTEs have that big leaf spring stack and no coils. I just didn't know if 2615 was early enough. The very early green car from South Australia has the big leaf stack. And the owner drives it pretty hard with luggage on long drives. 1000s of kms. What they were buil...

250GTE geeks
I was talking with the owner of 2615. He has only leaf springs. An experienced vintage Ferrari mechanic told him that it should have coils in addition to his leaf springs. He just has a shock and leaf springs. Should his car have coils?

Re: 5th Annual Radcliffe Motorcar/Tomyang.net Vintage Ferrar
If you really want the goods ask my wife who took him out later that night for round two after Tom W. and I tapped out early. Zac Gee Zac, that is piss poor. You and Tom W couldn't handle Mark on your own so you had to tag team him with your wife !! That's embarrassing letting a single east coast g...

Re: Cavallino 2012
The laughs we had last year in the Caddy with John Bishop and my friends Bob & Gavin watch shopping in Boca outweigh any trophy for getting all the right stickers or hose clamps on a car. Zac Hey Zac What about Scott? What did Scott do to you? Was he Mr Invisible man? You will be off his Christmas ...

Re: Soft brake pedal
Thanks again Kerry and Tom. The guys over at the C4 website said the same thing. The explanation fitted my symptoms. So I will have to refurbish my MC. I will let you know what the exact issues are when I pull it apart next week.

Re: Soft brake pedal
Thanks Kerry. That might be the answer. I can't recall if I had a spongy pedal if I braked hard. I certainly did when I braked slowly. I will take the car out and brake hard to see if I get a spongy brake pedal. Problem is of course it is intermittent. I don't really want to just bleed the brakes to...
