Just a quick note to say I have taken these manuals off of ebay but they are still available directly from me.
I have English and Italian versions.

Instrument removal GTE
Hi All, I noticed an old thread about removing the instruments from a 330 GT 2+2 My 250 GTE Instruments suffer from smears and marks on the inside of the glass. The dials are somewhat faded to grey but I rather like that patinated/tropical look, with the exception of the temp gauge they seem to read...

Re: GTE Manual English Version
I guess this is a 'bump' and update on the manual project. I have sold 107 manuals (of the 200 printed) so far and the reaction from the buyers has been extremely positive. The manuals have gone to 250 series owners all over the world, with the exception, for some reason, of Italy  I have both...

Re: GTE Fuel Filler Flap
That would be interesting, thanks in advance Chris. I would be very interested if any owners of earlier cars could say if their car has either a flap, or the mounting holes. Petrol nozzles in the U.K. are designed in such a way that they have to be inverted to fuel a GTE. The nozzle is then clear of...

GTE Fuel Filler Flap
Hi All, I have occasionally discussed with Tom the rubber flat that folds out from a GTE's fuel filler. I don't have one. They were connected to the body work by a metal strip. There were mounting holes in the bodywork for the screws. See David Wheeler's picture below of 2713 (top picture). My car, ...

Re: GTE Overdrive
The overdrive has now been overhauled by Overdrive Spares , Rugby, England. The company was founded by ex Laycock de Normanville employees. These units were fitted to a variety of British sports cars in period so they have plenty of work over here. They seem very switched on and are able to test the...

Re: GTE Overdrive
Well, all the external parts have been checked. The solenoid is powered and working, alignment on the other side is good, tested with a drill bit inserted as per the manual. So it looks like it will have to come out. There is a cottage industry in the U.K. dedicated to renovating Laycock units, pric...

Re: Glass for rear window and ashtray for 250 GTE needed
Hi, I bought good/used front and rear screens from GTO engineering few years back.
Worth a try I think.
Not cheap , but hey, GTO engineering

Re: GTO Engineering
I have never been a fan of GTO engineering, for GTE preservation reasons. However, they do some interesting stuff. Due to my overdrives issues I did toy with the idea of one of their 5 speed gear boxes. Hopefully de-bugging my overdrive will be done soon, but the idea of a 250 series with a proper 5...

Re: GTE Overdrive
Hi Tom, Happy Thanksgiving to you, you family and all American Ferrari folk. Thanks got the reply, I suspect the clunk is the relay by the fuse box. We will test to see if the wire to the solenoid is getting power. Certainly before we remove the trans tunnel, as you say, easy things first. I assume ...

Thanks Tim, I will check soon, though I would be surprised if that is the issue, I am prepared to be surprised.
