Re: 330 GTC AC clutch and pulley
Thanks, Steve! I've been enjoying following your thread on your engine removal and rebuild. That's way beyond my skill-set, and more importantly, the patience of my wife!

Re: 330 GTC Sunvisor tips
My son and I are working on possibly making replacements for these. We have dimensions from an old/crumbled one and have made some prototypes that look correct and fit well. We are now working on sorting out the best material to be faithful to the hard rubber of the originals but provide better dura...

Re: 330 GTC AC clutch and pulley
Thought I'd close out this thread with some good news. I found a correct electromagnetic clutch & pulley assembly from a donor 1960s Maserati, and my shop disassembled my front end to work on my "belt throwing" issue. Digging much deeper this time, we found that at some point in the past the mountin...

Re: 330 GTC Sunvisor tips
Does anyone know what the correct original shape and dimensions are for the sun visor tips? I've been following the color debate, but I'd love to know length, inside and outside diameter, whether they were cylindrical or had a bulb or wider part on the end, etc. would also be helpful to know how har...

Re: 330 GTC AC clutch and pulley
Thanks, Steve. That is pretty ironic! So...I have a new York compressor. Patrick Ottis sourced it and fitted it in my car. I think he said the new ones were exactly the same as the old ones, but they now come black and he painted it silver. He used the clutch/pulley that had been in my car, which ar...

Re: 330 GTC AC clutch and pulley
Thanks Steve. My engine bay is clean, but no where near show car clean. And it likely won't be since I drive the car a fair amount. But I hear you and yanking it. Maybe someday! I have leads on 2 clutches now. Brand new from Ferrari Classiche and used from a parts dealer. Not sure what to do...new i...

Re: 330 GTC AC clutch and pulley
Thanks, Steve. Attached are picts of my current setup! I think I finally know what part number I'm seeking - A/C clutch (12V, 6" by Borletti, design #260/320368) part number is 100473 - thanks to some help on F-chat. But your picts are also helpful! And hey - your car looks well used! I'll take that...

Re: 330 GTC AC clutch and pulley
Steve
That would be helpful - best you can do from above is fine. Or if you see any identifying markings that might be useful on the assembly.
Yes - changing any belts on these cars is a real a** beating. Gotta love radiator lines running through them and shims for tensioning!

Re: 330 GTC AC clutch and pulley
Hello - A few looks and no bites. Bummer. I've come to learn that this assembly may have been Italian made, under American license, but a company called Bonaldi. It fit the American compressors of the day - York and maybe Tecumseh. Anyone with a 330 GTC with original AC setup that can try to take a ...

330 GTC AC clutch and pulley
Hello! Does anyone here happen to know the manufacturer or part number for the correct AC clutch and pulley for a 330 GTC that has factory equipped AC? My car was originally delivered with AC, but at some point in the last 50 years someone replaced the clutch and pulley with a Ford variety. Unfortun...
