Re: Slotted Trim Screws for Scaglietti Car

Thanks for the Link to Restauration Supply.

The screws Newco is offering also seem to be to bulky. But hard to tell from their pictures. And I would prefer not to use Stainless Steel.

Slotted Trim Screws for Scaglietti Car

Hello, I´m searching for about 30 M5x25 Slotted Trim Screws as used on Scaglietti Cars between 61 to 63. At the moment I use these stainless steel ones, as they are the only easy available screws, that are at least similar. http://www.evt-schraubenshop.de/EDELSTAHL-A2/Gewindeschrauben-A2/Becherschra...

Re: Coil Red Paint

When did Ferrari changed to golden Coils?

I´m not sure, if for a 1962 250 it is correct to have red or golden Coils. At the moment, i have golden installed.

Re: California Headlights and Airpan

The Gaps towards the Body/Covers on the most front part may seem big, but in reality it is much tighter and even the two cars with original Headlight Rims had this "feature", so i can live with this very good. It is not perfect, but much better than it was before and as said, my first hand made meta...

Re: California Headlights and Airpan

I just want to show my first metalwork finished!

Besides the welding and chroming i done all the work myself and without any help! Somehow, I´m pretty proud of my work.

Thank You very much, but as we own 3 sets of them (2 original sets at least) I know how they look.

I would be really interested in tha article due to the history of them.

Re: California Headlights and Airpan

I started to make a paper-templater for one headlight trim. What do you guys think is the best material to manufacture the trim? Steel, Aluminium ore Bronze? At the end it will be chromed.

Re: California Headlights and Airpan

Hi, i´m looking for some detail pics of covered headlights. Are they interchangeble with TdF headlight cover? And maybe someone has (detail) pictures of unrestored Californias? I have to remanufacture one headlight cover and the headlight rims. So input would be nice. And does someone maybe have me...
