Re: different type of grease nipples on the prop shaft?

Aha, the reason with the external supplier of the component sounds very logical. So I will leave them as is and not replace them with button style. One more time thank you very much for the information John!

Re: Top Light 250 GTE

Wow, that looks awkward! Thank you anyhow for the information with the bulps, I will be careful when changing them. Mine is only broken into two parts, the crack is relatively unvisible but it needs replacement definately. As I said, I am with one piece, hopefully Yolanda can make a good mold with T...

different type of grease nipples on the prop shaft?

Hello, My GTE shows grease nipples with flat top made of brass throughout. Only at the two nipples at the cardan joint are different (the one right beside at the prop shaft looks like all others on the car again). I assume that these two have been fitted later somewhen and by lacking the right style...

250 GTE front suspension - rubber missing or is this normal?

Hello, I changed all existing rubber parts from my 250 GTE front suspension and then this came to my intention: there is a whole where I think that a rubber should absorb the shocks from the upper part. When I had a look in the parts list I found #16305423 - rectangular upper pad front suspension . ...

Re: Top Light 250 GTE

Hello Tom, thank you for checking it out - I am definately in with one piece which is in any case worth a try. I will email Yolanda directly and hope that you bring your good piece as soon as possible to her to produce a good mold. Thank you very much for your help and your report about the quality ...

Re: 250 GTE rubber gasket for front indicator glass

Just to inform that no one goes the same wrong road: the rubber gaskets for the front indicator lights purchased from cicognaniguarnizioni.it are wrong. The outer diameter is only 55mm wheras the 250 GTE requires 60mm. Little difference with big effect as the smaller Alfa gaskets do not fit my car :...

Re: Top Light 250 GTE

Hello Terry, I live in Austria/Europe, do not know how far that is away but I would like to give it a chance before taking the exit to 3D printing. Please let me know what CA means - is it Canada? What is the telefon number including the international pre dial of the source in El Segundo? Other than...

Re: window mechanism 250 GTE

Ja, thank you for sharing the experioence with the welding-solution, I also thought about this way as the "emergency exit". Anyhow I would like to get a spare part for replacement if somehow possible. I do not hesitate to invest the work on the broken part but think that the welded surface might not...

250 GTE rubber gasket for front indicator glass

Hi,

I need to correct a bad repair from the past - does anybody know where to get the gaskets for the front indicator glasses of an 250 GTE or have an idea if gaskets from another car could fit? Please see drawing with the measurements attached.

Thank you, Martin

Re: 330 Series 1 brake light switch

Thank you all for the hints and advises - I understood how to fit a replica or modify my broken brake switch. As my car is very original this would be my second choice. I am looking for a genuine/original spare part and ask if anybody has one for sale.
