Re: 330 GTC heater ducting

Hi Kevin, Although the correct hose usually has to smashed flat to clear the top of the tire for suspension movement, using the smaller hose will work better. It all depends if you want it to work, or if you want to show the car, provided if the judges even look up inside the wheel wells! Good luck....

Tim
I have not spoken to Joe in years, but a quick search and yes, he's still around, and may be worth a call. He's in Flushing NY.

Re: The Blog has been Hacked

Thanks everyone for responding. I paid to have my hosting company locate and eradicate the malicious code. They told me a few lines of code were injected into my blogging software using a weakness in the software. There it sat for months until a bot found it and used it to insert the Pharma website....

Re: The Blog has been Hacked

Thanks guys for responding. It seems it's not consistent and does not appear all the time. I still want to eliminate this problem, but it will take time to eradicate the malicious code. Hopefully, you all will be able to access the blog while I find a solution.

The Blog has been Hacked

Hi All, Some of you may have been experiencing some strange things on this website where viewing the blog brings you to a pharmacutical website. I obviously would never do this, but please close this website window and try again. I am working on a solution, but please be patient. The type of hack ca...

Re: Valve Stem Protectors

I don't think anyone answered the plating on these pieces, but they're supposed to be white Cadmium plated. All these parts are for concours detailing, but for regular road use people like Lucas tire, and Coker Tire, sell a plastic collar that will slide onto the inner tube valve before installation...

Hi Pete,

I'm glad you liked the videos. Thanks for watching.

I guess if the first owner drove the car in all sorts of weather, it's plausible the floors could have rusted that badly, that fast!

Hi Pete,

Part of the growth in this community comes from reaching new members on different platforms, and video is growing faster than blogs. I hope to continue to do both so rest assured!

Re: Radiator cap .9 or 1.1?

I have a séries 2 330 GT. I have to admit I never checked the radiator cap… Then I need to clean it up and it occurred to me it’s been with this cap for a long time! Not to point out the obvious, but there may be people who don't know, on SII 330s, the cap on the radiator is a simple rubber gasket,...

Re: Radiator cap .9 or 1.1?

Hi Pierre,

A higher pressure cap increases the boiling point of your coolant, and it also puts more pressure on the system, so it can cause leaks. You can go back to stock or leave it alone if you haven't had any problems.

Re: 62 250 GTE Fuel pump questions

Hi Tom, After reading your reply to my thread am I correct to assume that the car will not run on the electric fuel pump alone since its output is only 3 psi? I noticed that when reassembling the mechanical pump that there was a lot of free movement in the lever before it actually started to actuat...

Thanks Guys! I can't believe it's been over 20 years since I started this website, and I went from one of the newbies to one of the old timers right before my eyes! I never forget that I started in a similar situation but my guide was Francois Sicard, my mentor and friend, who taught me a lot of wha...

HI Cornelis,

I will consider creating a member's area for items for sale. I'll work on it over the Xmas break.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Re: 330 GT 2+2 Rear Frame Repairs?

Yeah, definitely not a Ferrari rear differential. I suspect the replacement rear end may have dropped the drive shaft low enough that it may have been rubbing against that center frame section, so the solution may have been to cut and fabricate a piece that would clear. The stock Ferrari set up allo...
