Something is sloshing around when you're nearly full. Have you looked at the filler hose in the trunk? There is a panel that covers the filler neck to the tank on the right side of the car. The soft hose may be leaking. There is also a drain hose that drains away excess gas out of the area below the...

I was so happy last Fall when I wasn't plagued with electrical gremlins outside of the overdrive. Hopefully I'll figure out what's up soon!

Hi Pete,

Nope, never did tell my Dad! He was not too mechanically inclined, so by the time I was 15, I was fixing most of the things in the house anyway!

Learning how to fix things is the same for cars. I can't imagine the mistakes I made with my first Mustang I owned in High School!

Hi Bill, Those Lucas fans might look monsterous, but the only thing big about them is their draw! Some cars don't have overheating problems with a stock system, and I hope yours is one of them, but if you find your car overheating in traffic, the fans are the first thing I'd look at. I bet they don'...

Hi Michael, Try this link: http://www.radiatorinfo.com/ They have a ton of sources. My radiator did not need recoring, but I understand that the aftermarket cores available to replace a bad Ferrari core will not look the same. The fin structure is different, but as far as having the same efficiency,...

Hi Chris,

I replaced the Lucas unit with a more reliable Bosch unit. It's hidden under the fuse panel, and hard to see. I figured replacing it with another NOS Lucas unit may cause future problems.

Just Lurking on this thread...

Is it possible to have the hubs re-laced with a 16inch rim with the same amount of holes as the hub? There are companies that are reproducing spoked rims that might save you some money than buying complete wheels.

Hi Adnaan,

I try to post additions in the "what's new" section when I remember to do so, but may follow your suggestion if there is a need.

Hi Luke, http://www.tomyang.net/cars/garvey50.jpg Scott Garvey and I have been discussing where to put his speaker, and this was one of the proposed locations (with the help of photoshop), but it was rejected for something under the dash without the speaker cabinet. There may just be enough room to ...
