There is also the "Uso I Manutenzione" whose origin is questionable. It is a collection of specs, exploded diagrams and articles on 250 GTE maintenance, some in Italian, some in English. It has a "Ferrari" cover, though the layout and mixture of English and Italian would tend to discredit that. We h...

Nick Mason, the drummer for Pink Floyd, has an excellent book called Into The Red, in which he talks about the classic cars in his collection (which includes a GTO). The British version of the book comes with a CD of each car starting up, then taking a few laps around a race track. Now this is good ...

OK! That worked for me at least! Please note that the second photo was taken about 2 seconds before the passenger looked up, saw our cameras and yelled "Oh #%$*&@#" in Italian. The third is them blasting away on the wrong side of the road to get away. The chase definately made up for the museum expe...

Isn't the usual problem that people can't reach Kerry's site? I couldn't even get that picture to come up!

When I email this address to myself, it works. So, lets try it again:

I just spoke to Matt, Mike's partner at D&M Restoration, so I guess the phone number (800-722-0854) is good. They charge $130-140 to rebuild the Veglia clock. I am going to send mine in along with the plastic faces and have it rebuilt. I'll let everyone know how well it works when I get it back.

F430 & 250 GTE Drawing

Ferrari released photos of the new F430 on the Owners Site today. I thought you guys might like to see some shots I took of a test car that my kids and I chased through Maranello in early July. I also went to the Museum, which was a disapointment. I missed the 2+2 exhibit and saw a rather wimpy V8 d...

Tom - Did you have any problems with your clock sitting around for so long before it was powered up? I am thinking about sending my clock to D&M with the cloudy gage faces, but am worried about it sitting around for some time. However, since the chrome tabs on the trim of the clock break so easily, ...

Bill has the Register on computer and can search it by a number of criteria, including color, but I don't know about delivery destination. Drop him an email and see what he can do.

I have been in Italy for a couple of weeks, so have not been able to keep up on the site. If the offer is still open, count me in for a set.

On the GTE, the trim strip does cover the notches, so any adjustment would not be noticed. We can also make the drawings available on this site so that people can print out full size copies and see if they match the plates for their car. In comparing the plates from both sides of my car, I noticed t...
