As for the Mondial comment, I was just try to point out that there is someone who likes/dislikes everything and in the case of Ferrari's especially, where they are all good cars, it's ludicrous. Best, Yale Yale, No offense taken here. I just thought it was a bit funny when I realized the Mondial wa...

I tried the Liquid Leather on half the seat to compare and the leather is noticably softer -- and the other side had been previously treated with both Leatherique and Lexol, so I think this is good stuff. This was done on a Mondial -- 330 seats to be done when it comes back from the shop. Shipping w...

Thanks Matt. What I found interesting in reading about their conditioner is that they claim it quickly becomes fully absorbed so that there is nothing to wipe off. This seems pretty amazing if the claim is true because this absorption doesn't happen with any other leather conditioner I've seen (Leat...

Actually, based upon the UK reference, this one might be more likely to be it:

I used the Liquid Leather conditioner. It works great, and smells like wonderful. I like it a lot better than Lexol. I had to order mine from the UK. Some months ago a British car magazine (I've forgotten which) did a comparison between different leatehr conditioners, and Liquid Leather was ranked ...

The 2 sources for the mirrors are Dennis McCann ($125 each plus shipping) in the US and Italparts.com in the Netherlands (90 EUR each + 45 EUR for shipping to US (or 90 EUR for express shipping)). I ordered them from McCann's because they are US based, but Italparts was very professional, had them i...

Thanks for the feedback. Art, I'm certain the car will be worth the wait. I would like to join the Oct 21st Tom Yang East event. I will probably go for permanent mount mirrors for practicality's sake -- I don't think they look bad if the appropriate mirrors are fitted, I'm just not that fond of the ...

I am close to taking delivery of a 66 330 GT (8169) with no side mirrors. As much as I like the current look and originality, I don't think it will be practical as I plan to drive it fairly often. I don't prefer the Talbot or fender-mount mirrors. I've seen the comments about finding German mirrrors...
