Battery Hold Down
In looking for a resto battery for a series 1 330GT I found the battery box to be a bit small for the G27 Battery. In looking at old posts it seemed that the G27 was a correct battery size for this model. However, I am working on another series 1 330GT and noticed that battery box to be the same sma...

Re: Tools for the toolkit
I also forgot to list some extra tool and jack bags that I have.
Black jack bag
Brown jack bag
Brown tool roll
The last 2 should really stay as a set as they have the same patina.
Thanks Cory

Re: Tools for the toolkit
Thru searching I have come up with extra tools and continue to search for others. Usual suspects have been explored and am posting what I am trying to locate and what I have to offer to trade in hopes of helping someone here. Need the following originals: 42MM hub puller grease gun and extension hos...

Re: Hub Pullers
Cory: At this point, I suspect it will be very difficult to tell the difference between an "original" and a "repro" puller. My friend, the late Dave Chambers, made literally hundreds of them in the 1980'-90's for all the suppliers. They were identical to the originals and are now mixed in to the ho...

Re: Hub Pullers
Thanks guys. I too have used those methods. I was really looking to distinguish the repop hub pullers from the real ones. There is some subtleties in machining but was looking for that smoking gun. Price differences are usually a tell tale but even the sellers that say they are "original tool kit it...

Re: windshield washer bag
Hi Peter I couldn't pull up the ebay link but I think that was the one Tony Randazzo was listing that was split at the bottom. The 275 used those and the bags with the strap. I believe those were .75litre. Dyke would be able to verify. He sent pics of both to me and if I knew how to get them on here...

Re: windshield washer bag
Thank you for the offer. I actually have a cavis bag. The bag I need is a 1/2 litre Foredit bag. Its square in shape with the same grommets as shown in your pics, no metal strap, just round grommets for mounting.

Re: windshield washer bag
Hi All, I am looking for a windshield washer bag for a 1964 GT. I am unsure which one it is. I am under the assumption it is a 1/2 litre Foredit bag. Could anybody confirm and or possibly post a picture of a correct one? Thank you in advance. Cory Still trying to locate a 1/2 litre Foredit windscre...

Re: original fuel hose ferrules
Well said John, For me, I too really enjoy working with my hands, but chose to do it for living, so I "tinker" for about 30 hours a week not including time spent working on the website, invoicing, and chasing down parts and cars. I look forward to working on Vintage Ferraris every week with the var...

Re: original fuel hose ferrules
Sometimes it's not about the cost or even originality. It's about time. The time you spend in your shop doing something with your hands that is far more satisfying than your day job. You can spend many, many hours doing and redoing something, and if you add some red wine and good music, there you h...
