Re: Need contact for vintage guages
Ain't "guages" spelt "gajes"? Ke...

Re: carburator nuts
Hello, The most importend things about the carb nuts has not been discussed I am not interested in the colours or orther trivial things You can do a lot wrong by simply putting the carbs back on the manifolds First, always place a ring/washer under the nut ,to spread the force more over the basis I ...

Re: Need contact for vintage guages
I want to locate a couple spare oil/fuel/temp Jaeger guages for my 1960 OSCA 1600 GT Zagato. I've done some Google research and came up with very little. Mike at D&M Restorations suggests contacting Francois Sicard for direction -- but I'm not sure how to contact him (Tom could probably relay the m...

Drilled on the very outer rim of the hub, like on a flywheel. Rudy van Daalen Wetters 1963 GTE s/n 4001 1966 330 GT s/n 8705 Rudy ,you have the right nose, Some rotors does have only a few holes 5-7, other have more than 40........ These looks like modern air vantilated disks, but are not. So it mu...

Re: Front Rotors and Hubs
Hi Cornelis, what are the "balancing holes"? Ed, I am unable to understand what is to be gained by turning the units as hubs/disks alltogether. Swapping the disks (left to right)... who cares. Once you turn the disks it's all starting from anew anyway. The hubs, of course, are unique to each corner...

Re: Front Rotors and Hubs
Hi Ed, I washed mine in solvent, sand blasted them then had them shaved. I couldn't resist painting the naked metal, so I used the leftover paint from the fuel filter to cover the non-frictioned surfaces. As for the hubs and the hardware, I understand they should be black oxide treated. john http:/...

Re: Heater installation...
The glass wool really is not thick enough to space the heater out. If I tighten the screws, the box will come too close to the body. There must have been something in between and so far I don't know what that is. Tom? Best wishes, Kare Yeah, Kare. On the isolation material is ALSO the Wilson carpet...

Re: fuel pipe
some valuable input photos from Cornelis on fuel system tubing and fittings. Hi Craig, I am allways suprised that I as foreigner knows the way in our country better than the original inhabitants. Re: fuel pipe
Ferrari used 10mm OD copper plated steel tubing for the fuel pipes that run from the front of the car to the rear. The fittings on these pipes are silver soldered on. Some of fuel pipes that have tight bends in them are made from 10mm copper pipe that is cadmium plated (for example the Y pipe that ...

Re: Coils... again
A few questions... 1. What is the finish of the nuts and washers that hold the coils' brackets to the bulkhead? 2. The red wire that couples the coil to the resistor, is it solid or stranded? Thanks. john Hello John and Mr Carello all the answers by pics in your mail boxes You will both soon be inv...
