Re: Horn Detailing
Hey, How can i buy the red hose for the horns? The ebay link below looks like it might be close. It's 7mm ID, 12mm OD. According to a post early in this tread, factory Fiamm hose is 7mm ID, 10.75mm OD, so the one on ebay is a little thicker. Also, official hose is very slightly translucent, but to ...

Re: Horn Detailing
I am in the process of restoring my horns. They are original but at some point someone painted them black. A photo of them is below. I saw earlier in the thread a discussion about the horn body (not trumpet) being painted hammer tone. There was no trace of paint under the black on mine, so I'm prett...

Re: oil filler vent hose
I was able to get some through the new company (PR Products). I spoke to Jeannine (925-997-4409, sales@prproducts.net), who is the owner and she was very nice. Ordered them in early November (2012) and received them about 6 weeks later. I think Mike was still making them for her at that time. These ...

Re: California Headlights and Airpan
Welcom to TY, it should be" closed" to the bonnet to create a kind of cold airpressure. BTW I dont really believe it bring something. I have no experience with this setup, but my guess is that it helps performance at least a bit. I took advantage of a rare salt-free winter day (a few weeks ago) in ...

Re: Kudos to Kerry Chesbro
Congrats Kerry. Have not seen the SCM article, but there is little question that there are many 330's (all over the globe) that are much improved as a result of your efforts.

Re: rear diff leaks
Any experiences with the out-of-bottle black oxiding solutions, particularly its longevity vs. the professionally done black-oxiding? Since I have the diff apart I thought it might be a good idea to refresh the aesthetics. Thanks. john I have no experience with their black oxide products, but have ...

Re: Our friends in the path of Sandy
Kerry, Thanks for asking. We are doing well. Trees are down all around us, but our house didn't have any major damage. Our power (and phone, cable, Internet) is down for the count - PSE&G is estimating Nov 9th to restore it. My AT&T iPhone rarely connects to anything, which is pretty much how i norm...

Re: It was Colombus Day, what else are you going to do?
Beautiful photos and good to see these cars out on the road. I also had the 330 out on Columbus day in the NYC parade. The group consisted of about 25 new Ferraris, Maseratis, and Lambos, a couple of classics (328 & Mondial t), and 1 vintage (330 GT). The 2+2's aren't always appreciated, but in that...

Re: Trim Pieces below the rockers
This is an old thread, but I just received some (I think NOS) trim for a 330GT from ferrariparts.co.uk that shows the color to be satin black. Some shots of it are below -- one with flash and one without. The color is more satin than semi-gloss, there is a hint of gloss, but not much. The are having...

Re: 1967 US price list
Thanks for posting Kerry, interesting to see the options list. The 330 GT had a head rest option? I don't think I've ever seen head rests on a 330.

Re: wall art
It is beautiful. If it was just one car sitting around unused and they created it as a one-off personal piece, then I get it. From the text though, it sounds like they are going into production with these where you can sit down over a glass of wine to figure out what kind of car they can hack up for...

Re: The Best Penetrating Oil
Tried this solution on hose clamps and it works great. Most were pretty clean to start with, but one was black and didn't respond to other cleaning. The ATF/Acetone lightened it up a bit -- not perfect, but better. You do need to be careful what plastics you put in it. I tossed a rusted umbrella hol...
