Hi John, Having just done this last week with #4969, here are some thoughts: If your car is like the America, the driveshaft doughnut has to be unbolted and the driveshaft removed. Since the car will be on jack stands, use a pry bar or long screwdriver to jam between the bolts and nuts so you can tu...

Hi Rob,

I agree with the guys, go with your heart. There are also opinions that the 275GTS looks like a Fiat! Let your friends drive what they want, and you buy and drive what you want!

Thanks guys! Congratulations back to Scott and Kris on their repective homes! I'm pretty excited about the possiblities! Unfortunately, I won't be able to put in a lift like Scott is planning, but maybe in the future, I'll be building another shop on the property out back! Kris- I'm sure you'll get ...

Hi Guys,

If you're interested in making an airbox for the Daytona, I may know of one that can be duplicated. Maybe if there is enough interest, we can offset the price by making a couple.

Hi Mike, Try: http://209.128.90.174/KBC/ferrari/ for the journal, and: http://209.128.90.174/330GTRegistry/ for the Registry. Hi site seems to have a DNS issue that causes some networks not to see the website. Accessing it directly with its IP is the only way I can see it! Hopefully, Kerry will fix ...

Hi Paul,

If the screwdriver trick doesn't work, try getting a good oil filter wrench that has the strap that tightens as you turn and get it on the base of the oil filter. The strongest part of the oil filter is the base where the sheetmetal is crimped to the body of the filter.

Good luck.

Hi Mark,

If you have server space (usually supplied by your ISP) you can post pictures to this forum, but you can also send me pictures and the story behind your Daytona, and I would be happy to post them to the owner's gallery.

Tom

P.S. Although it wasn't a "S," I owned '72 911T.

Thanks for the telling us. Someone on that thread was wondering about the GTO "Breadvan" car. It was a sixties creation, not a 70's race car as someone else posted.

Hi Terry, Thanks for the support! I agree with Fest, use filters. Dirt will score your cylinder walls, and make you lose compression, along with a host of other problems. Racecars run without filters because they're designed to run one race before being rebuilt. They might look cool, but it's a high...

Yale's brake lights operate on a pressure switch which is not adjustable. One solution would probably be to replace it with another switch that is more sensitive. I may have seen one in a hot rodding catalog. Of course this would mean modifying the threads to fit.
