These people, although in the UK, have a huge supply of seat belts, fixings, belt colours etc. They were original suppliers in the UK to Ferrari UK in the sixties, I beleive.

This is like an Agatha Christy 'who-dun-it'. Please take a day off work and drive the car. We all want to know how she goes. I've been on your site every day for two years, minimum, waiting for this. I'm sure the list will chip in towards the lost income :D

These things used to be popular in the UK about 30 yeaqrs ago. The problem is they leave all the deposits and other crap in the sump. At least when you drain it correctly this gets washed out with the flow of oil.

No one here uses this any more, much better to do the job properly I think.

I guess it depends where you are. In the UK I use an additive called TetraBoost in my 1977 400. I run it on Shell Optimax which is 97 octane and boost it to 99+ with the TetraBoost, which is the actual lead additive that used to be in petrol. Not sure it is available elsewhere though.

The diff on my 1977 400 used to judder when slowly turning left or right out of junctions. I had just replaced the oil with 80/90 gear oil.
