Re: 1962 250 SWB Headlight Questions

Hello C. original the Car had the Parking Light in the Turn Signal as a second (weaker) Bulb (i think, that most 250 GTs had them there). The German TÜV required, that the Parking Light is in the regular place... So the Car was converted to H4 Headlightunits with Parking Light. The original Light Sw...

Re: 1962 250 SWB Headlight Questions

Thank You John! Someone an idea where to get the Headlight Bowls? sadly in Germany these can´t be used legally on our car, as the Parkinglight must not be the same as the Turn Signal.. As it would be the case with the Carello Turn Signals. So to be legal, I still need to use incorect Headlights.... ...

1962 250 SWB Headlight Questions

Hi everyone, I just had to replace one Headlight. At the moment, the Headlight Inserts sureley are not original, but they work great, as they have an H4 bulb. What Manufacturer would be original for an italian delivered car? Marchall, Carello, ...? I have two Marchall Inserts, but no matching Bowls....

Re: 330-SII removing rear muffler for more sound

I very much liked the sound with complete straight pipes and 275 Tail Pipe Silencers! Not too loud and very responsive engine!
Good is also an empty Ansa system with Snaps!

A bit disappointing is a complete new Ansa System... Sounds a bid closed and feels so in higher revs...

Re: Slotted Trim Screws for Scaglietti Car

Thanks for all the suggestions. Searched at all hardwere supplyer and so far I´m not 100% happy.

I will try to modify one of the Stainless Steel screws to see, if i can get the right shape out of them. But I think, their head will become to small in diameter...

Re: Slotted Trim Screws for Scaglietti Car

Thanks for the Link to Restauration Supply.

The screws Newco is offering also seem to be to bulky. But hard to tell from their pictures. And I would prefer not to use Stainless Steel.

Slotted Trim Screws for Scaglietti Car

Hello, I´m searching for about 30 M5x25 Slotted Trim Screws as used on Scaglietti Cars between 61 to 63. At the moment I use these stainless steel ones, as they are the only easy available screws, that are at least similar. http://www.evt-schraubenshop.de/EDELSTAHL-A2/Gewindeschrauben-A2/Becherschra...

Re: Coil Red Paint

When did Ferrari changed to golden Coils?

I´m not sure, if for a 1962 250 it is correct to have red or golden Coils. At the moment, i have golden installed.
