What is a good match for the paint on the Koni shocks on my 330GT?
Does someone have the winged stickers for them?
Thanks

OK. The engine blocks are the same. The carbs are different. What else is different?330GT wrote:Except that 8857 is a GTC.Lowell wrote:I should have noted that with our odd numbered cars, this was the next one built.

Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder Banjo Fitting
One reason that I was so late in posting the photos above is that until last week I could not get the clutch to work! I could not bleed the system. Finally my friend Luca came over, and we spend two hours looking at everything. I had installed a new slave cylinder with the rod to the clutch lever ad...

Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder Banjo Fitting
Greetings, It looks like some nice work on recreating that banjo fitting, however I am curious to know if you have tried the part on your car and how it fits minus the angled off-set between the body and the "barrel' of the part. Giovanni 44 Sorry to have been so late in replying to this question. ...

Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder Banjo Fitting
Great Lowell, I would've done this right from the beginning. Do you have any more pictures that were taken between the second and third pictures in your previous post? Thanks. john I have no pictures of the beautiful work that my friend did: Cutting the parallel planes on his mill, drilling the bol...

Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder Banjo Fitting
Since I could not find the fitting, I (with some help) made one. I bought a brass cylinder and turned down one end where the hose nipple will screw in: DSCN2027.jpg I cut off the piece at 2.00 inches, drilled and tapped a hole for the hose nipple. I extended the hole with a #22 drill for the fluid t...

Re: Engine 8857
Gee, my 330GT is 8855. The 8857 engine is "rebuilt" with nothing whatsoever inside it.
Incidentally, I'm about to start making making the clutch slave banjo fitting from a 1 1/16 " brass round bar.
The bar is 1 foot long, and the fitting is 2" long, so I can mess up 4 times.

Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder Banjo Fitting
I ran across an ad on ebay (Item number: 110780870206) for the rear wheel cylinders for a Mercedes Benz 300SL Roadster which appeared to have the same banjo fitting. As MB has great record keeping and part catalogs, this may be an option. Giovanni Thanks for the info. I'll look into it. But I have ...

Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder Banjo Fitting
T308: Thanks again for your effort. I phoned ferrparts today. They said to wait while they looked around for an hour. I phoned them back, and they said that they did have the banjo fitting a week or two ago, but that they had sold it! Any more ideas?!!! Anyway, thanks again, close but no whatever_it...

Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder Banjo Fitting
I looked at alfa parts on the web and also Fiat 124 parts, but could not find anything similar to the Ferrari part. If I can find a proper female fitting for the end of the hose, I may just screw it into to a piece of brass machined to accept the female fitting and machined to have the banjo bolt sl...
