Good question, Ed. The risk here is the possibility of having the chain come off the crankshaft sprocket. Hopefully you'll get an educated answer. If not, I can envision also having to remove the right sprocket cover and use of a coat hanger wire. Good luck.

Love mine. It's safe and effective, and light. Maybe a little expensive, but nothing out there is made to that quality.

Re: 330 2+2 rear axle
Tyler, it's been a long time since I took this picture of my axle hardware, but take a look at the second quadrant of this picture and you'll see a couple of washers that look like yours. Hopefully someone else can give you a more difinitive answer.

Re: rear Fispa Fuel filter- fuel tank level??
Michael, you can remove the left rear wheel and note the position of the filter canister in relation to the tank and make a judgement call. In my case the top of the tank is at the same level as the top of the filter, which means the tank has to be full to the rim for there to be any chance fuel run...

Re: How do you determine steering box oil level?
Thanks Dyke. The seals are fine. I use 250W thinking that it might give a tighter feel to the steering. I may be all wrong, but it seemed like a reasonable notion.

Re: fiamm road master horn
Make sure that the motor has power coming to it. If it does, then it's possible that the brushes are parked on a dead spot on the collectors. Take the cap off and spin the armature with your fingers, then try again. But before all this make sure the unit gets power; there are no disconnections, etc....

I've noticed that the clock is always in the bottom quadrants, but sometimes it's on the right and sometimes it's on the left. I have also seen cars with no clocks but an ammeter instead.

Re: Exhaust popping 330GT
Sharing a similar experience... you seem to be describing detonations inside the exhaust pipes, which can stem from raw fuel igniting inside the pipes. If a cylinder is not firing, unburnt fuel can pour into the pipes then ignite by the other cylinders, creating gunshot-like pops. In my case, while ...

Hi Ed, have you checked out Brandoli? A friend sourced a trunk latch for his Lusso. These are remanufactured.

Re: Cleaning Spoked Wheels - Lend me your Pro Tips!
A bottle brush type brush is handy for cleaning the spokes, but make sure to put a guard at the tip so the wire doesn't scratch things. I put a a short piece of nylon tubing at the tip of my brush. Also, dishwasher soap is pretty good for managing the water spots.

Re: Vapor Lock 330GT
In my dealings with this issue, I learned that to get adequate supply with only the mechanical pump, the glass bowl needs to stay full to the top. Remember, the outlet is at the top of the bowl, so if you have air at the top instead of fuel, your carburetors will starve.
