I don't recognize the car, but it isn't a 330 4HL. Both headlights are the same size while the inner ones are smaller on a 330. Also, the hood has a scoop, though that could have been added. It also looks like the grill may be two sections with a center bar. The top starts going back down just where...

A short introduction to what anodizing is and how it protects the aluminum can be seen at: http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/lcd_ano.pdf This is a 1.9 MB Adobe PDF file (so have a fast internet connection). Page 3 has the information on the chemical process that goes on with anodizing. Regards, Kerry

Well, several things have happened with regards to the PF coupe project. I actually have 2 PF coupes right now. The first one I tried to buy ended up here in the Seattle area. It turned out to be a bigger project than expected so I ended up with it. So the bare metal car is a quasi parts car (or at ...

I'm not sure what the number on the passenger side is. The 1816/62E is the numero interno (internal motor number). This is what Ferrari calls the engine serial number. Usually the chassis number is also stamped nearby. When the block was cast and cleaned up, the numero interno number was stamped on ...

There's a wiring diagram on P. 87 of the GTE owner's manual. This can be downloaded from the Ferrari Owner's Site (http://www.owners.ferrari.com).

For the plastic vapor barrier behind the door panel, buy some clear heavy duty plastic (10 mil or so). It should be available at a building supply store and use double stick tape (office supply place) to go around the whole outside. Just be careful and check that it won't show once the door panel is...

In the front of the 330, I set the pads under the frame just behind the wheels (where the splash shield is). In the rear, there are two stubs that stick out from the frame ahead of the differential that I use. In both cases, I use 4" extensions so the arms don't impact on the pinch weld of the rocke...

Although I didn't need to, I also had the concrete thickness under the posts doubled to 8" thick. For my lift, the requirement was 4" of 3000 PSI concrete. The normal concrete used for a garage floor is only 2000-2500 PSI strength so I specified the extra strength (at extra cost of course). If you a...

When I built my shop in 2002, I spent quite a bit of time looking into what type of lift I wanted. Basically there are a couple of questions you need to answer: 1. Do you want to use it mainly for oil changes, detailing, etc.? If so, a 4 post drive on lift would be appropriate. These also have the f...
