330 gtc hood

Just bought a 330 gtc hood on eBay (and hope I never need it). Unlike mine, however, the border on the inner surface (facing the engine) has many many holes that appear to have been placed to lighten the hood itself. Is this correct? Can anyone shed some light (pun intended) on this variant. thanx s...

cracked Cromodora mag

While painting and repainting and repainting my mags, I noted a small crack on the back edge, near the tire bead line, of one of the wheels. About 1" long, running toward the front of the wheel. Can these be welded? argghhhhh! s

Spinners

The knock off spinners that I have on my 330 GTC are "straight", but I've seen spinners that are the usual 3 spoke jobs, but have a bit of a curve in them. Which ones go with which model or does it matter? thanx steve

330 GTC trunk won't open

After putting my GTC on jackstands, my trunk latch won't release. It feels like it's locked, but it isn't and never has been. Thinking that the cable was just bound up because of the jackstands, I put a jack under the rear cross member, but that didn't help. (I think the nose is a bit higher, hence ...

Wonder why the wheels would now lose air, when they didn't before the refinishing? The refinishing was a PITA, and now they're passing gas...jeez! (MY ex would say this is just retribution!) Here's how I did them. clean with degreaser fill holes and nicks with bondo sand with coarse grit sandpaper f...

trouble refinishing Campy wheels

My friend and I have spent a lot of time refinishing the slotted Campy wheels on my 330 GTC. They look absolutely awesome, concours if I say so myself. However, when I had the new tires mounted, three of the wheels developed these very ugly paint blisters. Just like a damn zit. Anyhow, I wonder if t...

I'll def'n be there, and, like last year, plan to go to the Quail, then on to the historics for two great days of racing. Couldn't make it to Tom's shindig last year, but wonder if we might not get together, informally, at the Quail? steve

are those units rebuildable? mine sure looks correct, but while the radiator is out, I may just paint a new Hella unit black and call it a day. I'll bet I can find some great wines for the $600 or so I'd have spent on an expensive dirt catcher in the front of the car! thanx so much. s
