Re: 330 GTC project

Probably lots of us have been following this along. Seemingly largely original car, but many unknowns to be roadworthy. I'd be curious to know, given the info we all have, would you do a leak down? Go through the algorithm to see if could be started? Almost certainly, every system will need signific...

Lower radiator hose on a Daytona

Is the radiator hose (part #42 TAV9) that runs from the pump outlet to the special three way pipe and then on to the lower radiator orifice a special hose? I ask because the pump outlet has a rim/ridge that is of a slightly greater diameter than the smaller diameter on the three way pipe. (that pipe...

Re: Removing knock off spinners.....

Thanx Tom, to me, it does intuitively seem like hitting the KO on the ground would lessen the stress or impact on the bearing. It will certainly lessen the stress on my marriage...won't need to have my wife up in the car holding the brake pedal down! Thanx again. steve

Daytona Side View Mirror Question

THE SIDE VIEW MIRROR ON MY DAYTONA COUPE WAS FINE UNTIL IT FLEW APART ON THE FREEWAY SOME 2-3 YEARS AGO. Removing knock off spinners.....

I have always done this with the car on the ground. Wheels chocked. But recently was told to do this with the car in the air, and I assume, a helper standing on the brakes. Comments? thanx. steve

Re: 330GT 2+2 power steering problem

I can't imagine my stupid error would happen to anyone else, and it was a 'Vette, not a Ferrari, but after replacing the pump, filling the reservoir and then moving the steering wheel lock to lock, the reservoir was low. Added PS fluid and bingo, good to this day. steve

Re: Please Help me ID this Ferrari Hood

Hey B24S we now believe that the tag says "330 2+2" so your wife was on it. The PF number corresponds to VIN 6137, a 4HL 2+2, known to be wreecked. However, I must take issue with your implication that doctors have difficult to read handwriting; some of us have totally illegible scrawls that even we...
