Re: GTC Suspension bushing specs. wanted

Tom, I'm am having a hard time understand your question. When you say outer bushing, I take it that you mean the bushing that is captured in the chassis, and the inner is the one that is captured within the outer. Correct?

Re: TV Car Restorations and Makeovers

My wife says we would have no use for cable TV if it wasn't for my watching "those stupid car shows" over and over. She'll say things like "I know for a fact it's the 18th time you have watched that episode". Anyway, a few shows worth watching, one is "Bitching Rides", the bearded Mormon in Utah and...

One thing to note is that the German sockets are car specific.

Re: Removing knock off spinners.....

After 20 years of service the bronze spinner socket I bought from the fellow in Ohio split. I wasn't too happy about the cost of the Oldtimer socket, but I got it in the mail today and I have to tell you, it is an amazingly beautiful piece of work. It snaps on tight and there is no way you will hurt...

Is there a source for the connections of the headlight receptacles? I am looking for the brass terminals. Thanks.

Re: Gas Filler Overflow Pipe

Chris, I just took this picture and measured the OD; it's 13mm. I have to say that the pictures you posted previously suggest that the hose was green in its earlier life.

Re: Gas Filler Overflow Pipe

Chris, my overflow hose was missing, but there is no reason to believe that they would have used two different types of hoses for the same component, considering the male fittings are all the same size. Restoration shops use the green hose for the drip.

Re: Gas Filler Overflow Pipe

My apologies, here's my tank and right there it is, the white "Pirelli" lettering on the hose.

Re: Gas Filler Overflow Pipe

Tom W, I believe the hose is green and it's a CAVIS product. One serves as vent and runs from the tank to the filler neck and the second one serves as overflow and runs from the filler box to the ground. Here's mine and you can see that it looks the shade as the one in your picture.
