You might try D&M Restoration in SC. https://dandmrestoration.com/. They tried to repair my Veglia clock, but a NLA part prevented the repair.
So, I'm looking for a clock for my 1959 PF Coupe. This is a pure mechanical wind-up clock.

Re: workshop literature
I am looking for literature before starting the assembly process of my GTE. Can anybody provide an electronical file (pdf?) of these two books: a) "Ferrari Tuning Tips and Maintainance Techniques" by John Apen b) "Ferrari Guide to performance - essential tune-up secrets for Ferraris through the ear...

Re: 330 GT Build Sheet
Does anyone have their build sheet for a 330 GT 2+2 car - around the 8-9000 serial number they can share with me. I have mine and it is from the factory and it is so light of a copy that i cannot make out the detail i need. Appreciate if anyone can share their GT build sheets. I have several GTC on...

Re: R&R Daytona Fuse Cover Label
Teflon dental floss can be used behind a glued on item to 'saw' the glue. This works well with items glued with double stick foam like an emblem.
Perhaps it might work here. In any case, it won't hurt the item nor whatever its glued to.

Re: Exhaust originality is an interesting topic
Tom, I think saying the ANSA exhaust is incorrect is interesting, as after all it was a genuine replacement exhaust and there must have been a Ferrari that went down the assembly line and got the ANSA exhaust while the previous car got the Abarth exhaust as the factory ran out of stock/supply. We s...

RIP Lowell Brown
Lowell Brown, past NW region FCA director, passed away on April 5 in Sante Fe, NM.
Lowell was a good friend and I will fondly remember the many hours we spent together working on our cars.

Re: Vintage Style Battery Manufacturers
Unless someone had changed out the battery frames, it should be a group 27.peterp wrote: ↑Sat Mar 25, 2023 11:52 pm I just realized I need the "Group 24" size, not the group 27 battery I linked to in the first post.
This is the link for group 24: https://batterycentralmall.com/product/ ... ery-sg24p/

Re: Vintage Style Battery Manufacturers
... I'll probably order the Magneti decal -- I suspect the same size as the Baroclem. Does the sticker fit exactly in the indent on the battery? Pretty cool if so. 8169 probably had a Safa 6SFS4 battery as the build sheets for 8109 and 8205 show that battery. It looks like only the 6SR3 and 6SNS5 a...

Re: 330gt 2+2 boot latch
According to the PF body parts catalog, the original part was 242.34.200.0.1. With the change to the interim model (4HL/5 speed), a revised part 242.34.200.1.1 replaced the original one. That version was also used for the 2HL model. So, either the part you purchased is not marked right or the trunk ...

Re: kick plates
A 330GT owner restoring his car emailed me about these kick plates in the door. I went looking for Danchuk to provide a link to the proper panel. Well, Danchuk no longer sells retail (see https://www.danchuk.com/blog/?p=15406). So, I guess that you have to find a Danchuk retailer ('57 Chevy parts pl...

Re: Factory Ferrari visit tips needed
No, Kerry. Build Sheets extend up into the 12000 range. I have numerous build Sheets for 330's above 9315. Beyond the 12000 range, there are still "sheets", but they are very condensed summaries. I believe they are now only available when a car is certified and for extra money. Dyke and I are going...

Re: Factory Ferrari visit tips needed
Sorry Michael, but the factory does not have a build sheet for 9693. A long time ago, one could get the build sheet for free if you provided pictures of the serial number stampings on the chassis, engine, transmission and differential. One could use the webpage for that request to see if a build she...

Butch has finally retired. This has been in the works for quite a while, but it finally happened a week ago.
