Re: Top Light 250 GTE

Hello Tom
The wider light looks like the one from my series 111 and I will be happy to take a lens when ready. I think you must have my contact details, if not let me know and I'll PM them to you. Your involvement is appreciated.

Re: Top Light 250 GTE

Hi Tom - yes, LEDs seem to be a much less risky way forward. And they seem to last forever too. You can even get a choice of colour, by which I mean a really white light or a yellowish tint. I don't mean anything too wild - green, red(!), blue etc. Personally I think a yellowish tint would be a good...

Re: Top Light 250 GTE

A couple of pictures showing what happens when the wattage of the festoon bulbs is too high! So, you see, I really could use a replacement.

Re: Top Light 250 GTE

Good work Tom. Maybe you just appointed yourself 'Middleman'. My interior light lens is 'cooked' and all I was able to pass to Yolanda was a couple of photographs. Depending on price and shipping costs I might be prepared to take a chance, especially if you are helping out. Previous price I got was ...

Re: Top Light 250 GTE

Hello Tom - when I was in contact with Yolanda I was under the impression there was stock of recently reproduced parts but that was a while ago. You kindly offered to pick one up for me if the vendor would not ship to Europe. Aftermarket Reproductions will, I understand, ship to Europe. Hello Melchi...

Re: Top Light 250 GTE

I have the same problem and some time ago I was in contact with Aftermarket Reproductions in El Segundo CA. (310) 322-8028. I didn't go through with a purchase as I'm 6000 miles away from seeing what I would be paying for. Perhaps you're closer and can assure yourself the parts offered are what you ...

Re: window mechanism 250 GTE

I don't know if the cogwheels are available but assuming they're not a possible alternative is to build up the missing tooth with weld plus some reshaping. I've had success this way, although it wasn't for the Ferrari.

Re: Ferrari 70th Anniversary display at Pebble Beach '17

I read in Tom's blog about the PB factory display cars having to be Classiche certified. On Fchat recently there has been some discussion of the latest requirement for annual inspection, to maintain the certification. Your comment about the factory appearing to want to ensure that their rules are th...

Re: An intro to say hi.

It's not like the USA but UK is still quite an area. Can you give us a better idea whereabouts you're located?

The information exchanged through this site is practical and useful, and there's a lot of it. Hope you enjoy it.

Yolanda Keh replied to my email within 12 hours, saying she can ship to the UK and that payment is accepted by cheque, cash and also Paypal.
Another great TomYang.net forum result!

Maybe I'll put up a photo of the quarter light winder knob I need to replace a damaged item next.

I worked for 17 years in Hayes, Middlesex but never heard of Tudor Car Interiors. Fascinating!
