Re: Anybody seen or used the repro stainless bumpers?

Timo, I do have an other approach using my classic cars. You can find my cars parked in the middle of Paris, Amsterdam, Turino ,Modena I do not own a modern car since my 18th birthday ,will keep it that way. The project car in the rotary will NOT have a better life at my place. its always a nice sur...

It did not fitt properly obviously due to the new owner. who was trying to make me clear that I was selling a cheap repro bumper……. well lot of car...

Re: Mechanical Fuel Pump Repair Questions

If you have to repair the pickup tube I used a heat gun to soften the plastic screen on the end of the tube. It made it much easier to remove and install. Cory Only for info. perforated metal on all pre 1960 cars without plastic insert made out of copper. see below. soldered like the whole metal fu...

Re: Unknown Bracket

John you're bracket belongs 100% to the choke cable i do have two of those the are fixated on the distributor nut base Every 250gt came with a choke even you think you´re came without. I think the pre owner simply remove it. in the warmer country you don´t need it at all when he runs. Tom´s guess is...

Re: Front Suspension

David, the chasisbracket with carried the" rubber stop"-suspension arm- is rather fragile and often bent down.
check those for the hanging issue.
Interesting to see that your brake discs (rotors) are balanced normally only seen on competition cars.
best

Re: Front Suspension

Cornelis, the circlip goes in before the spring is inserted in its cup. john John, is here one of the expieranced amateurs like me but his method is not advisable for the "beginners" here. My fingers are my capital for my daily work, so I avoid any risk. Here the cheap equipment I use. cost about50...

Re: Front Suspension

mmmh John this look like children shit to me. I am only a hobby man my self. How do you get in the cir clip ? big question to me. the later cars has on opening in the lower disk. so special equipment goes from the inside to compress the heavy spring to solve this issue. those are not expensive. Enio...

Re: 330 GT air baffles

my 330 gt did NOT have them - and it is an orig car......interesting on some muscle cars that we have done - baffles show up on cars with AC for the same purpose as described above. On the Ellena car - much older car it has side baffles #31 and 32 that are screwed to the front nose horizontal tubes...

Re: Front Suspension

The metalblack bracket- see pic- on the lower "jaw "gives the width of the whole construction. so donnot start with the upper " jaw like DB shows the holes in the bracket and lower arm will not line up . I let my lathe man make at least 20 cuppper/ brass spacers extra with grease channels the whole...
