Re: GTC Suspension bushing specs. wanted
Tom: I honestly think you may be overthinking this. A visual inspection should be all you need to determine if you need new inner "bushings". It is easy to determine if the steel pins are worn. Generally, they are fine.

Re: 330 GTC horn compressor lubrication
Five or six drops every year or two. Doesn't need much oil.

Re: 330 GTC horn compressor lubrication
If you can route a piece of safety wire down and into the oil hole so that the wire does not touch anything on the way down, you can put drops of 3-in-1 oil on the wire and they will follow the wire down and go into the oiling hole. I have done it this way for years. Works on lots of hard to access ...

No, coils and resistors only have ONE each. Look at the Parts Books.

Re: Driving the wheels off, really!
Jim: I warned you about my memory. So you made me put on my coat and trudge through the cold out to the shop to look at wheels. I checked two sets of Compagnolos, a sunburst set and a square-hole set. Both sets use washers, but not what we normally refer to as "Lock Washers", but "Serrated" washers ...

Re: Driving the wheels off, really!
Jim: When the wheels are produced, the threaded ends of the bolts are deformed after they are tightened, to prevent them coming loose. Somebody has removed the nuts and possibly replaced the bolts and nuts. From the factory, they usually do not use lock washers (my memory and we all know how good th...

Re: Electrical Board - Ignition problems
Kristian: Item C. When you remove the wires from this connector, you should find two large metal "staples" that act to transfer current from one connection to another. These "staples" corrode and cause all kinds of problems with the electrics, as most of the power for the car passes through this con...

Re: 250 water pump
Tom: We have done quite a few of the Daytona style conversions and we NEVER release the chain tension. As long as when you remove the center seal holder, you make sure the shaft is pushed back into the chaincase, the shaft will stay in place secured by the rear bearing.

Jim: At least you can type. I took a typing class in summer school between my junior and senior year. This was the same summer I got my first Alfa. To this day, I have never been able to understand why I have NO typing skills.

Re: Resistor sparkplugs
Jim: "8" is way too cold for a street engine. The BP6ES is the BEST plug for street motors.

Re: FACET FUEL PUMP 476087
Tim: you are right, I have seen a few 330 GT's with twin filters, thanks for reminding me. However, I have always wondered if this was a factory installation or was is done by a later owner to try to do a better job of filtering the fuel.

Re: FACET FUEL PUMP 476087
Chris: On a 330 GT, the electric pump does NOT flow through the pressure regulator in the glass bowl filter. The electric pump passes fuel directly to the rear inlet in the carb fuel log. Yves: If you intend to use the electric pump for starting and occasional extra fuel during hot weather or during...
