Hi Matt, Congratualtions!!! I'm sure you'll have many joyous moments in that car. One tip I've heard on the getting the knock-off off is to use two hammers. Keep the lead one in contact with the spinner, and hit that one with another hammer. This can help keep better aim. A dead blow hammer can also...

Hi Matt, The Timevalve exhaust is very similar to the Ansa system, but the sound will probably be different. When I've heard a 330 GT 2+2 exhaust made by Timevalve, the system seemed quieter than the Ansa systems I've heard on similar cars. Of course, sound is a subjective matter, so your perception...

I'm pretty sure Re-Originals does not have covers for 2+2s. The GTC and Lusso seats he has are very different from the ones found on the GTE, 330 2+2s, etc.

Hi Steve, I think the amount of journal entries I've written on my interior restoration is a good indication of how complex the 330 America interior can be. An interior can cost anywhere from $8K to $15K depending on how much you need to have done and the quality of the work. The Connolly leather th...

Hi Ron,

That's one of those materials that I've been trying to locate without much success. The black materal used on 250s can probably be had from a vinyl roof supplier. Perhaps Michael Greenspan's supplier who may be able to supply the mylar seat trim has some.

Hi Leonard,

Welcome to my website!

It's funny that you ask about air conditioning because Michael Greenspan and I were chatting about the possibility of adding A/C to his 330 America, and Yale with his 330 GT 2+2 is also interested. Stay tuned!

I just posted Jack Horner's gallery entry, and welcome more submissions. Just understand that it may take a few days to get around to posting it because I no longer have all the time to the web building as I used to!

Hi Guys, The slots on the edges of 250GTE panels were wide enough to make up the variations in the mounting posts, but everyone can decide how they want their panels cut. I'm sure each owner can file the panels slightly to fit if there are problems. The prices will vary from shop to shop, but doing ...

Hi Bernard,

I simply sanded the varnish off. Most of it had chipped off, so it was just a matter of using progressively finer sandpaper until I got down to the bare wood. It's probably safer for the wheel, and your health to not use those chemical strippers!

Hello All, First off I want to say, WAY TO GO TOM WILSON!!! I knew that we would get a better deal with a little persuasion. We all owe you a beer for making the effort! I know Francois will order at least one set for a GTE, but I will give him a call tomorrow to check. It will be far cheaper to hav...

Hi Fest, You're not the first person who suggested a solid core door for a counter top, and I may use one, but I have an idea I'd like to try out for this bench. I want to frame the edges with angle iron and use masonite to make up the height of the steel. This strong edge should withstand any pound...

Hi Ed, You're welcome! I just bought the steel wheeled ones from Eastwood, and they're OK. I don't know how the other ones will fare, but your floor should be a flat as possible for the steel casters to roll properly. Be prepared to really push, if the wheels get stuck in a crack, or seam in the con...

Hi Fest,

Francois uses the Wurth gasket sealer, but I'm sure any of the other sealers will work fine.
