Re: Anybody seen or used the repro stainless bumpers?
As inconsistent as the older Ferrari bodies are, I'd be surprised if a reproduction bumper did fit "out of the box". I had an early 275 GTB and a friend had one just a few serial numbers away. For the heck of it we compared some body parts - no match at all. Very good point! Just one other thing to...

Re: Sealing the Tach Drive
Thanks to all. I have a Parker store local to me that makes and repairs hydraulics. Nothing close. I may just have to use the old o ring and some silicone.

Re: Anybody seen or used the repro stainless bumpers?
Hi David For what ever its worth.....I recently fit a front and rear bumper, from that supplier, on a series 1 330 and fit wasn't even close to the originals. Lucky enough for the owner body and metal work was being done and new locating holes were used for both front and rear. I explained that the ...

Sealing the Tach Drive
Referring to the picture, can anybody tell me where I could find OR121, the o ring on the tach drive unit. All the other seals and o rings pictured are what has been sent to me by various suppliers and are incorrect. I have tried all the usual suspects with no luck....any leads appreciated. Thank yo...

Re: Mechanical Fuel Pump Repair Questions
If you have to repair the pickup tube I used a heat gun to soften the plastic screen on the end of the tube. It made it much easier to remove and install.

Re: Mechanical Fuel Pump Repair Questions
Possibly, as long as you kept a full tank of fuel. Keeping a full tank also helps with vapor lock. Not sure how realistic keeping a full tank all the time is though.

Re: Mechanical Fuel Pump Repair Questions
As you use fuel your head pressure begins to decrease. Eventually you have a possibility of sucking air thru the pick up tube, as the fuel level decreases, in turn affecting fuel psi. I would post pics of the split tube but I don't have a 12 yr old available to show me how to retrieve it and add it ...

Re: Mechanical Fuel Pump Repair Questions
I have just gone through the same issues with my pump and as was said earlier, there are volumes written here about all these issues. I will explain what I found. My mechanical pump was only putting out a little over 1 psi, at the pump and regulator. Make sure you have checked the psi pre regulator ...

Maintenance specs
With regards to valve train maintenance, could someone tell me what the proper re torque figures are for 330 Heads and the general consenses as to what everyone is using for 330 intake/exhaust valve clearances. I see different numbers used from different reads, i.e.: Bishops book to owners manual. T...

All 3 pieces on 5749 as well. A real pain trying to get to anything under #30 if you had to. Probably can explain why many are missing.
