250 Brake Master Cylider

Is the rebuilding kit available for the 250GTE and Lusso type brake master cylinder? Are there any cross references? Thanks.

My local NAPA store found a cross listing for a rebuild kit. As I recollect from the picture in the parts book, it included at least the piston, seals, and spring. It did not, unfortunately, include the bellows, but a rebuilt master cylinder was available, which did include the bellows.

Steele Rubber had a bellows from a early '60's Chevelle that would have fit except the rubber was too thick to fit around the cylinder flange and inside the bore in the pedal box.

NAPA said that the cross reference was for an 87-89 Nissan Van, the entire production run of which was recalled and crushed due to prevalent problems with them catching fire.
