Anterior undercarriage protection

Post by Melchior »

The anterior undercarriage protection plate under the cooler of my GTE looks somehow strange to me. The thickness of the steel plate is thinner than other loose metal parts of the car and the linkage to the middle of the lower anterior body (below the grill) also doesn’t look too original to me. Does anybody have good pictures of this part from upper and lower side that could help me reproducing this protective plate?

What‘s your opinion, is mine genuine or not?

The original one was made out of aluminum and has a little bit of shape to it. yours looks pretty flat.

Thank you Tom! Do you have pictures of an radiator pan one that I could use for a template?
