Hi all:
This e-bay seller thinks his bumpers and seats are from a GTE, but I don't agree. The front seats maybe, but the other parts are definitely not GTE. He seems like a nice enough guy who has tried to identify them with proper research, and is stumped. Anyone have an opinion?

Hi David,
I don't think the bumpers are Ferrari at all. The attachment brackets don't have any tubes to slide into the tubes found on the chassis of most Ferraris. From a design point, they both seem too squared off to be designed by any Italian!
I believe the front seats are from a Series I 330. GTEs don't have pockets in the seat back, and the seat slider adjust is a round knob.
I have no idea what the other set of seats go in.

Interesting. I have the seats from my Interim 330 sitting right next to me, and they are VERY similar, but not exactly the same. The overall shape & size looks right, but my seats only have 7 pleats in the bottom and seat back covering (rather than the 10 shown), and my chrome trim ends at the top of the hinge assembly, rather than continuing to the bottom of the seats as these do.
Also, the shiny trim at the bottom of the seat has five of so sets of ridges, whereas my seat has evenly spaced ridges. Looking at the enlarged pictures, the covering looks like vinyl (lots of little holes), not leather.
The frame and hinge assemblies look identical though, as is that crumbly dried foam powder!
Yale, which Lancias have these seats?

Maserati's that had four seats at the time were 3500's, Sebring's and Mexico's. I don't remember seeing these seats in them but I have a lousy memory. The Lancia's would be the Pininfarina variants of the Flamininia's and or the Flavia's and Fulvia's. I must have a book with interior photo's but it's not with me at this moment. Stephan from RPM has one of these cars and I think you would be surprised how they mirror the four seat Ferraris of the era in many visual aspects. Best, Yale

The Lancia idea is appealing - frankly hadn't thought of that. Pininfarina also penned the bigger Alfas of the period, right? Which would make them a possible candidate. Watch - they'll turn out to be from something like a Pegaso...
