That was Les Miller's car. The person I visited in NSW right before I left Australia. The dealer made him an offer he couldn't refuse!

Don't get me wrong, it looks good in the photos. But almost 300 large, tell me -were the webers gold plated?

$206,658.00 U.S. that's a big jump for a GTE from what I have seen

Yikes on that kind of money for a GTE! For now, I'll just have to stick with my Fiat 500. Good thing is, only two spark plugs to worry about.

The only two series two cars I can find in Oz are 3479 and 3871. 3871 was a Les Miller car, but that was a while ago.

Perhaps this is a UK car that's made its way down under?

You are correct (as usual). I'd forgotten that 3365 was a converted RHD car. I was only looking at original RHDs.

RHD and bloody rare over here ... thus naturally the price is higher.

If you buy one overseas and you then have to ship it over, pay tax, etc. and if LHD convert it if you want to feel comfortable driving it.

It's simply supply and demand.
