Steve,

I sent my info to Ferrari on Saturday and received my certificate on Monday. The First time I sent the info I sent the wrong engine number and never got a reply.

Keep trying, I hope you get your certificate.

Best of luck.

Hmmm. I am not getting any reply. I have submitted my info 3 times. Maybe my engine number doesn't match? How does one determine what engine number should be installed in my car? My chassis is 11649 and engine is A362.

If the engine didn't match, it would be nice to at least get a reply from Ferrari saying that.

My experience was that it does not reject back for a bad numbers. I think if the entries are the right format but the wrong values, it seems to accept them without error but then they just don't send the certificate (this is what happened when I had the wrong engine number).

If the format is wrong, then it won't give a format error message but will say there are no records available for the car (this is what happened when I incorrectly put letters in the chassis number). Third time, it worked and I received the certificate a few days later.

I submitted it a fourth time, and that did the trick. Maybe they were on holiday...

I have tried three or four times and have received either the message that they do not have my info or it says nothing, the window goes away and I get no response.

Today I tried again, using the Chassis Number 4247 and the Engine Number in the form XXX/XXE and got the message "Requested data correctly entered. Ferrari will check the data". Within two minutes I had an email saying to go back to the Ferrari Site and pick up my certificate. If this is what going on vacation does, they should do it more often!

By the way, they confirmed that my car was Bianco with a Pelle Rossa interior.

My interior was originally Pelle Nuvola. Anyone know what color this is? It's currently blue, which I love.

Literal translation: Skin Cloud

Hmm. Cloudy skin? Perhaps an off white? That's my guess!

Ferrari just provided my color certification, and it lists 7537s interior as Pelle Nuvola too. I'm certain this interior is original. Love that blue leather!

Oops, perhaps not the color - looking at this website below, it looks like Pelle Nuvola is actually the surface finish of the leather, not the specific color (which is identified as VM 3015 for 7537).

My certificate says Pelle Rossa VM 3171. My seats are fairly bright red and I am certain they are original. If Pelle means Skin, that probably means Leather. However, why mine says Rossa (not the Rosso that is shown on the other web site) and Jon's says Nuvola is beyond my rudimentary Italian.

Mine is VM3015, too. Beautiful color! Thanks Kerry! By the way, how do you know this? Is there a chart somewhere showing this?

VM3171 is a red, though not too bright.

I have some of the original colors that were available for 330 GT cars in the registry:

Another source for Connolloy colors is Hirsch Automotive website:

The grain on the blue piece looks different from the red. Is that just the piece of leather or could that be what "Nuvola" means?

These are samples I got from Hirsch a couple of years ago. Scanning pieces of leather leave a lot to be desired. I don't know what to say about the grain. I can check the samples when I get home in a couple of weeks to see if they are different or they look different because of the scanning.
